Introduction 

Every clinical trial has tables and listings that represent the data included in the trial. Some data might be missing, but if there are missing variables, there is a need to validate whether the data is missing or it is a coding error.

Purpose

The Blank Column check validates that there are no blank columns in tables and listings.

Applicability 

Inclusion conditions 

• All table and listing files.

Exclusion 

• Empty table.

Discrepancies

• A column where all values are empty
