Consistency Between Tables 

Introduction

In the realm of clinical studies, ensuring data consistency and regulatory compliance is paramount. Therefore, identical data could appear under the European Union (EU) tables and the Basic Results (BR) tables.

Purpose

The BR vs EU Consistency check validates the consistency between BR vs EU discontinuation or demographic tables. A discrepancy is suspected  if a mismatch is identified in any text and/or numeric values (case sensitive), decimal places, spaces, line breaks in footnotes, etc. 

Applicability 

Inclusion conditions 

• Discontinuation tables: BR5 & EU9
• Demographic tables: BR3 & EU11

Exclusion 

• All files except BR5, BR3, EU9 and EU11
• Empty tables

Discrepancies

• Cells not equal

Discrepancy Example

There are several differences between these two tables: one has capital letters and the other does not.
