Consistency Between Tables Check
Introduction
In studies, the collected data is sorted by subgroups like age, gender, race, and ethnicity. This is done to demonstrate the effects the compound might have on these different demographics. The purpose of this check is to validate the number of participants in the different treatment groups, according to the demographic subgroups’ division in the project.
Purpose
Validates that the number of participants per demographic group is consistent across all different tables in the project. The following characteristics are being validated:
- Age
- Gender
- Race
- Ethnicity
- Population
- Treatment-related and/or All Causalities
- Phase
- Subgroups
- Period (mainly vaccine)
Applicability
Inclusion conditions
- Demographic tables
Exclusion
- Empty table
Discrepancies
- A mismatch in values between 2 or more applicable tables.
