Hierarchy
Introduction
Every trial consists of different trial groups that represent participants under certain criteria.
The group number is represented by a capital N. Participants in the group that answer certain criteria are represented by a small n. The trial group N, contains the participants from the smaller n groups.
Purpose
Validates that the number of participants in the trial group (N) is either greater than or equal to the number of participants in the subgroups (n), which consists of individuals meeting specific criteria and are included within the trial group (N).
Applicability
Inclusion conditions
Applicable to tables that contain both N and n.
Applicable formats for this check:

Exclusions:
- N/A, NA, N/E, NE, NR
- Blank cell (dash and dot are considered blank cell)
Discrepancies
- n is bigger than N
