Purpose

Validates that greater/less than or equal to signs are represented as single characters ≥ or ≤. 

Applicability 

Inclusion conditions 

• Applicable to Tables or listings with size comparison information 
• <=, >=, =<, =>,< =, > =, = <, = >) in the title, body or footnotes.

Exclusion 

• Tables or listings without size comparison information 
• Empty table

Discrepancies

• Greater than or equal appear as two characters
• Less than or equal appear as two characters
• There is a space between the signs
