Introduction
The File Review page serves as a central hub for managing and reviewing project files within Verify. It enables users to track the status of files, manage discrepancies, and take necessary actions on project data.
How to Access the the File Review Page [Step-by-Step]
You can access the File Review page in two ways:
- From the Overview page, click on “Review analysis.”
- From the Navigation bar, click on the “File Review” icon.
File List and File Preview
On the left side of the screen, the file list and filters allow you to navigate through all the project files. The file preview, located on the center, allows you to view the file and manage the task directly. When opening a task, a lateral panel will be displayed on the right.
Labels
Labels that are related to file comparisons between selected analyses include “added” (green label) and “modified” (blue label). Labels that relate to parsing issues include “duplicate” and “failed to parse” (red labels).
Filters
You can filter files based on various criteria. The file list provides the following details for each file:
- Discrepancies – Select a specific check, and the filter will display only the files with discrepancies related to the chosen check.
- Type – Filter files based on their type
- Task Status – Filter files based on the task statuses as modified by the user. This allows you to see files according to their current progress in the task.
- Assignee – Filter by the file owner. The project creator is the default owner, but you can select a different assignee to view files assigned to them.
- Advanced
- Keywords – Enter free text to filter files based on keywords associated with them.
- Outcome – Filter files based on their outcome after analysis: Suspected, Verified, Not Applicable, and Faulted.
- Checks – Choose a specific check and its outcome.

How Change File Name Display Preference [Step-by-Step]
On the File Review page, you have the flexibility to customize how the files are displayed in the file list. Regardless of the display preference, hovering over any file in the list will show both the file name and TLF number in the tooltip.
Here's how you can change the display setting:
- Select the Kebab Menu (3 vertical dots) in the File Review Page
- In the “Display File list by” section, select one of the following options:
- File Name: The default option, displaying files by their names.
- Table Number: Select this option to display files by their TLF numbers
How to Download a File [Step-by-Step]
- On the File Review page, select the file you wish to download
- Select the Kebab Menu in the top-right corner and select "Download File”
- The original copy of the file will be downloaded to your computer.
Bulk Status Change Enhancements
Bulk changes to Status on the File Review page are now updated for more transparently and efficiently performing bulk updates, as follows:
- Relocated for clarity: The Status bulk change option is now moved to a dedicated bulk changes area, for a more intuitive and streamlined user experience.
- Tool tips are added for every bulk change
- Enhanced visibility of selected checks or Issues: Users are now clearly guided through available check status modifications.

Edit TLF Number
In some cases, TLF numbers may not be correctly parsed when embedded as images. Therefore there is now an option to edit TLF numbers, so that the number is displayed correctly on the left side of the file list.
This Edit TLF number option is now added to the kebab menu on the File Review page. Selecting this option opens a dialog for editing and saving the Figure number in Verify. Editing is available for users with Programmer permissions.

Fit Option Added to Zoom Dropdown
Readability and navigation across wide tables is now enhanced to allow an entire table to be viewed without horizontal scrolling. A new Fit option is now added to the zoom button dropdown, enabling users to scale the table to the viewport.

Add Output Note
Adding an Output Note enables reviewers to add file-level review instructions and centralize key comments for each file, to help ensure that review guidance is clearly documented and applied.
Output Notes are limited to 300 characters. When users download and export the Excel analysis summary report, output notes appear in the Summary tab.
Every addition or modification to Output Notes is recorded in the Activity Log.

Highlight Text in Titles and Footnotes
Verify now supports highlighting specific text in titles and footnotes during Issue creation, which enables more precise identification for review of critical content in Table, Listing and Figure files.
The text highlighted within titles and footnotes is recorded in the Activity Log.

File Reviewer: One-Click Bulk Status (Per File)
Users can now bulk-update all tasks of a file directly from the file list.
- Clicking a file’s Status chip opens the Bulk Change Status dialog pre-scoped to that file’s tasks.
- Optimized tooltips display when hovering over a file status icon to provide better clarity about the file aggregated status.
