Introduction
Discrepancies are created by the system, while issues are created by the user.
Both discrepancies and issues are accessible directly from the file preview interface. Task details can be found in the right-sided task panel. There you can find additional information such as the comments, priority, the task-ID, and more.
Access to a Task Via File List [Step-by-Step]
- Tasks are accessible from the file preview itself. To access both issues and discrepancies you can click on the task square near the file name.
- Select the highlighted cell, highlighted text, or highlighted triangular indication that refers to two or more distinct tasks
- Verify opens a dropdown task list that allows users to select the task they wish to view. This dropdown list includes the Task ID and the check name (for discrepancies) or category (for issues). For highlighted cells that relate to a single task, clicking on the highlighted cell, text, or triangular indication opens the task as previously before.
Filtering of Highlighted Tasks
When you click on a discrepancy or issue in the Task Summary bar, Verify helps direct user attention to the related tasks by performing the following actions:
- Scrolls down to the applicable highlighted cells in the file
- Grays out unrelated highlighted cells in the file
- Updates the counter at the top of the task panel to match the selection
