Introductions
Task statuses represent the different stages or quality control levels that a task can progress through during the review process. These statuses provide clarity and help ensure effective quality control (QC) management.
This tables shows the different types of statuses:
| To Review | An open task (discrepancy or issue) for the user to review. | |
| In Progress | User is investigating the task. | |
| To Fix | User has identified the flagged task as an error. | |
| Fixed | User fixed the error. | |
| Ignore | Users identified the task as not an error. |
Root Cause Analysis
When selecting “Ignore” or “Fixed’ status to a task, a drop-down list of potential reasons are offered for selection.
File-Level Statuses
The file-level status is automatically determined by Verify based on the overall tasks statuses.
| To Review | A new open task for the user to review. | |
| In Progress | There are tasks under investigation. | |
| To Fix | There are tasks that require fixing. | |
| Fixed | Tasks are fixed. | |
| Reviewed | In the open tasks, there was no need to fix. | |
| Verified | No open tasks. | |
| Not Applicable | There are no applicable checks and no issues. |
Task Closure
To ensure strict governance and audit traceability, resolved tasks can be formally finalized. A 'Closed' toggle becomes available for any task (Issue or Discrepancy) once its status is set to 'Fixed' or 'Ignore'. Enabling this toggle applies a 'Closed' label to the task and fully protects it from any subsequent modifications, including status changes, assignee updates, priority edits, new comments, and bulk actions. Users can easily filter closed tasks in the Task Manager, and all closure actions are permanently recorded in the Activity Log.
